Garage Door Repair in Scottsdale, AZ
From the 1960s ranch houses of south Scottsdale to the custom builds under the McDowell Mountains — same rates, same crew, no weekend surcharge.

Scottsdale sits across the valley from our Peoria office, along the Loop 101. It is not the city we reach fastest, and we will not pretend otherwise: when you call we will give you a realistic arrival time rather than a sales line. What does not change with the distance is the price. Scottsdale is quoted on the same terms as Peoria, and evenings and weekends cost the same as a weekday.
The city is really two housing markets. South Scottsdale and the streets around Old Town are full of mid-century ranch homes, many with older doors and openers that have been patched more than once. Further north — McCormick Ranch and Gainey Ranch, then DC Ranch and Grayhawk towards the McDowell Sonoran Preserve — the homes are newer and the garages bigger: three-car layouts, side-load garages and wider, heavier custom doors.
Door weight matters more than people expect. The spring is what actually lifts a garage door, and a heavy custom door needs a spring sized for it. When a spring on a door like that breaks, the door becomes dead weight and the opener cannot lift it either — that is a same-day priority call, and not something to try to force.
Because our trucks carry the parts a repair normally needs, most Scottsdale calls are finished on the first visit rather than booked back in once a part arrives. We also install new doors in custom sizes and colors, which matters on a street where the garage door is the biggest thing on the front of the house.

Scottsdale customers, in their own words
I was leaving for work and my garage door would not open. I called Performance Door Service and they were out within the hour. The tech looked everything over and pointed out a few things to me. He then gave a few options and within an hour I was on my way to work with a working door. Thanks Performance.
Scottsdale questions
You're based in Peoria. Do you really come out to Scottsdale?
Yes, Scottsdale is inside the area we cover from the office on W Lowden Rd. It is a longer drive than the west valley, so we will tell you honestly when a technician can be there — but the rates and the no-surcharge policy are the same as everywhere else.
My North Scottsdale garage has an oversized custom door. Can you work on it?
Yes. We repair and replace doors in custom sizes, and we size springs and openers to the actual door — its height, width, thickness and construction — rather than to a standard two-car door.
Do you charge extra for weekend calls in Scottsdale?
No. Nights, weekends and holidays cost the same as a weekday, and the estimate is free either way.
